Easter concert “SALVE, REGINA CAELI”. Performers: soloists Ieva Pļaviņa and Anete Viļuma (sopranos), Agnese Kanniņa and Laura Šarova (baroque violins), Liene Martinsone (baroque viola), Māra Botmane (baroque cello), Māris Kupčs (harpsichord and organ). Program: music by Alessandro Scarlatti, Heinrich Schütz, Francesco Antonio Vallotti, Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and Johann Fischer.

Concert “XVIII gadsimta Advente Rīgā”. Performers: soloist Elīna Šimkus (soprano), Jūratė Širvytė-Rukštelė (baroque dance), Agnese Kanniņa (baroque violin), Laura Šarova (baroque violin), Liene Martinsone (baroque viola), Māra Botmane (baroque cello), Māris Kupčs (harpsichord). Program: music by Johann Valentin Meder, George Frideric Handel, Michel Richard Delalande, Johann Fischer, Dietrich Buxtehude, John Dowland, Thomas Campion and Žans Filips Ramo

18th of December, 2020 | Small Guild, Rīga (Latvia)

Concert “H. I. F. von Biber. Rosary sonatas (~1676)” performed by soloist Agnese Kanniņa (baroque violin), Kevin Bourdat (viola da gamba), Talitha Cumi Witmer (therbo), Māris Kupčs (harsichord, organ).

Concert “Dietrich Buxtehude” performed by soloist Elīna Šimkus (soprano), Agnese Kanniņa (baroque violin), Laura Šarova (baroque violin), Kevin Bourdat (viola da gamba), Mauro Pinciaroli (therbo), Māris Kupčs (harsichord, organ).

1st  of August, 2020 |  Small Guild, Rīga (Latvia)

Concert “Apgaismības laikmeta klaviermūzika”, music by Vincenzo Manfredini, Johann Gottlieb Naumann, Ignaz Josef Pleyel. Performers: soloists Varvara Manukyan (pianoforte), baroque orchestra Collegium Musicum Riga, conductor Māris Kupčs.

28th – 29th of December, 2019 |  Estonia

Collegium Choro Musici Riga collaboration project and concerts with Estonia’s baroque orchestra Corelli Barokkorkester, conductor Māris Kupčs. They performed: G. Ph. Telemann’s “Messiah”, M. Correttes “Laudate Dominum” and more.

16th of October, 2019 | St. Petersburg chamber opera (Russia)

Opera production “Stories of Clorinda, Jephte and Ismène” within “IV International Chamber opera festival” performed by soloists Monta Martinsone, Ilze Grēvele-Skaraine, Rinalds Kandalincevs, Ansis Bētiņš, Edgars Skarbulis, baroque orchestra Collegium Musicum Riga, baroque choir Collegium Choro Musici Riga, baroque dance group and conductor Māris Kupčs.

18th – 24th of March, 2019 | Copenhagen (Denmark)

Collegium Musicum Riga collaboration project with young soloists of the Copenhagen opera house. 4 performances of Claudio Monteverdi’s opera “L’Incoronazione di Poppea”. Conductor Māris Kupčs.

3rd of September, 2019 | Small Guild, Rīga (Latvia)

G. F. Hendel’s opera “Il Pastor Fido”. Soloists – soprano Ilze Grēvele-Skaraine, soprano Monta Martinsone, soprano Terēze Gretere, alto Sniedze Kaņepe, countertenor Sergejs Jēgers, baritone Rinalds Kandalincevs, baroque orchestra Collegium Musicum Riga, conductor Māris Kupčs.

22nd – 28th of July, 2019 | Israel

Collegium Choro Musici Riga collaboration project and concert with The Jerusalem International YMCA, Jerusalem baroque orchestra and conductor David Shemer. They performed G. F. Handel’s oratorio “Esther” in ivrits (Hebrew language). Collegium Choro Musici Riga and conductor Māris Kupčs in Israel also had 2 concerts where they performed “Kleine Geistliche Konzerte” and “Musikalische Exequien (op. 7) by H. Schütz.

4th of May, 2019 | Biržai Castle (Lithuania)

Concert “Farinelli portrait” within Early music festival Baroko pavasaris Biržuose performed by soloist Sergejs Jēgers (countertenor), baroque orchestra Collegium Musicum Riga and conductor Māris Kupčs.

19th of December, 2018 | St. Peter’s church in Rīga (Latvia)

Jean-Baptiste Lully’s “Te Deum”. Collegium Musicum Riga collaboration project with Mixed choir of Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. Soloists – soprano Terēze Upatniece, alto Sniedze Kaņepe, tenor Ansis Bētiņš, bass Pauls Stepe. Conductor Māris Kupčs.

2nd of December, 2018 | Small Guild, Rīga (Latvia)

Presentation concert “Mocarts. Klavieres” on Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music newly bought historical pianoforte (Stein model 1780). Soloists – Ernests Neimanis, Gertruda Jerjomenko (pianoforte), soprano Elīna Šimkus, Jānis Tretjuks (clarinet), Maija Kļaviņa, Kristīne Stumbure (traverso), Collegium Musicum Riga, conductor Māris Kupčs. They performed: J. G. Müthel’s Polonaise no.3,  J. Schobert’s Piano concerto in G major, op.9, W. A. Mozart’s Piano concerto “Jeunehomme” (KV 271), Timiri’s aria from opera Il rè pastore” and Rondo (KV Anh. 184), F. X. Pokorný’s Clarinet concert in Sebemol major.

23rd – 28th of October, 2018 | Oslo (Norway)

Collegium Musicum Riga Collaboration project with Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Academy of Opera. They performed C. Monteverdi’s “Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda” and “Il ballo delle ingrate”. Conductor Māris Kupčs.

19th of September, 2018 Valdovų rūmai, Vilnius (Lithuania)

Program “Dramma da capo”. Soprano Rūta Vosyliūtė (Lithuania), baroque orchestra Collegium Musicum Riga, conductor Māris Kupčs.

24th of May, 2018 Rundāle Palace, (Latvia)

Johann Adam Hiller’s oper “Die Jagd” performed by solists Monta Martinsone, Rinalds Kandalincevs, Sergejs Martinovs, Ansis Bētiņš, Ilze Grēvele-Skaraine, Terēze Gretere, Ivo Martinsone, baroque orchestra Collegium Musicum Riga, baroque choir Collegium Choro Musici Riga, dance group.

14th – 16th of June, 2017 Lion and Saint-Donat (France)

Two concerts of program “1704” (music in Riga, Latvia and Kurzeme around the time of Northern war) within early music festivals organised by Le Concert de l’Hostel Dieu. Performers: Ilze Grēvele-Skaraine (soprano), Agnese Kanniņa (baroque violin), Laura Šarova (baroque violin), Anatoly Grindenko (viola da gamba), Māris Kupčs (harpsichord)

25th of April, 2016 | St. Petersburg chamber opera (Russia)

G. F. Handel’s opera “Acis and Galatea” within “I International Chamber opera festival” performed by soloists Elīna Šimkus, Rinalds Kandalincevs, Monta Martinsone, Sergejs Martinovs, baroque orchestra Collegium Musicum Riga, baroque choir Collegium Choro Musici Riga and conductor Māris Kupčs.

24th of May, 2014 | Rundāle Palace (Latvia)

In 1765 Franz Adam Veichtner (1741-1822) became Konzertmeister at the court of Peter von Biron in Mitau, Courland (Latvia). Later – in year 1784 he composed opera “Cyrus und Kassandana” that was premiered in Libau (nowadays – Liepāja).

7th of November, 2010 | St. Gertrude Old church in Rīga (Latvia)

Claudio Monteverdi’s “Vespro della Beata Vergine” (1610) Collaboration project and performance Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music vocal ensemble of Medieval music and mixed choir and  Renaissance wind and brass group from Trossingen Music academy.
